Leadership Under Pressure
CLARITY UNDER PRESSURE.
DISCIPLINED EXECUTION.
THE COURAGE TO ACT WHEN IT COUNTS.
THE MISSION
When
Stakes Are
High
The hardest moments in leadership don’t come with a warning. They arrive fast, demand clarity, and punish hesitation. Jeremy Jesenovec has lived that reality for over three and a half decades — and he’s spent his career helping others meet it head-on.
Jeremy brings something rare to the stage: not theory, but testimony. His message is forged in the environments where leadership failures are measured in lives, missions, and communities. He has walked every stage of public safety leadership — from the discipline of Marine Corps service to the complexity of law enforcement command, to the strategic demands of security management and emergency operations.
That experience doesn’t just add credibility — it produces a message with depth, precision, and urgency. Jeremy speaks directly to the people others speak about: those who carry real responsibility, who lead in real conditions, and who must show up when their teams are watching and the margin for error is razor thin.
His talks are not motivational noise. They are structured frameworks for performing at your best when the pressure is highest — and for building the culture, commitment, and courage that sustain that performance over time.
CORE MESSAGE
Clarity Under Pressure
When chaos is loudest, leaders must be clearest. Jeremy teaches how to cut through noise, prioritize with precision, and communicate in ways that rally teams when everything is uncertain. Clarity isn’t a trait — it’s a trained response.
Disciplined Execution
Vision without execution is just wishful thinking. Jeremy explores the systems, habits, and accountability structures that transform good intentions into consistent, high-stakes performance — day in, day out, regardless of conditions.
Courage to Act
Real leadership requires the willingness to make hard calls, hold difficult lines, and act decisively even without all the answers. Jeremy challenges leaders to stop waiting for permission and start showing up with the courage their mission demands.
“Performance under pressure is not an accident. It is the result of clarity you’ve built before the moment arrives — and the commitment to honor it when everything in you wants to hesitate.”

LEADERSHIP
Leadership Is Not a Title.
It Is a Record.
Jeremy Jesenovec has not observed leadership from a distance — he has practiced it, been tested by it, and been accountable to it across every stage of a career that has demanded the real thing. From his first days as a United States Marine to the chief’s office, his entire professional life has been a continuous exercise in leading people through pressure, uncertainty, and consequence.
LEADING UP
FROM THE CORPS TO THE CHIEF'S OFFICE AND BEYOND
Jeremy earned every rank — from Corporal in the U.S. Marines to Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Police Chief in law enforcement, to his current role as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Civil Air Patrol. He knows what leadership asks at every level — because he has answered that call at all of them.
LEADING ACROSS
ACROSS SECTORS, DISCIPLINES & INSTITUTIONS
Law enforcement. Security management. Higher education. Emergency management. Military service. Nonprofit boards. Jeremy has led — and been held accountable — across more sectors and disciplines than most leaders encounter in a lifetime.
LEADING OTHERS
ACROSS SECTORS, DISCIPLINES & INSTITUTIONS
Law enforcement. Security management. Higher education. Emergency management. Military service. Nonprofit boards. Jeremy has led — and been held accountable — across more sectors and disciplines than most leaders encounter in a lifetime.
When Jeremy speaks about leadership, he is not presenting a framework he studied. He is sharing the principles he lived — refined over 37 years of making decisions that mattered, leading people who depended on him, and showing up in conditions that did not forgive shortcuts.
37 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
A Career Built in High-Stakes Environments
Jeremy’s authority as a speaker doesn’t come from books or research alone. It comes from more than three decades of leading, serving, and performing inside the most demanding public safety and security environments in the country.
- Service Years
U.S. MARINE CORPS
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Jeremy’s foundation in leadership, discipline, and service was laid during four years with the United States Marine Corps. The Marine ethos — commitment to mission, accountability to team, and performance under any condition — remains the bedrock of everything he teaches today.
- 30+ YEARS
LAW ENFORCEMENT
THREE DECADES OF PUBLIC SERVICE
Over thirty years in law enforcement gave Jeremy front-row and executive-level experience across the full spectrum of public safety — from patrol to command. He rose through the ranks to serve as Sergeant and Lieutenant before ultimately reaching the highest level of law enforcement leadership as Police Chief. That career arc — from officer on the street to the chief’s office — gives Jeremy an uncommon perspective: he has led from every level, and he understands what leadership looks, feels, and costs at each one.

Police Chief
Beyond traditional law enforcement, Jeremy extended his executive leadership into higher education, where he held a single position encompassing three distinct institutional responsibilities: Chief of Public Safety, Emergency Management Director, and Fire-Life-Safety Officer. Simultaneously overseeing campus security operations, institution-wide emergency preparedness, and fire and life-safety compliance, he was the single point of accountability for protecting an entire college community. It is precisely the kind of broad, high-pressure mandate that defines Jeremy’s career — and that gives his message on leadership, clarity, and execution its real-world weight.
- 10+ YEARS
SECURITY LEADERSHIP & EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
STRATEGIC SECURITY LEADERSHIP
Jeremy’s decade in security leadership & emergency management brought a new dimension to his expertise: the architecture of protection at scale. Managing people, protocols, vulnerabilities, and outcomes in complex organizations deepened his understanding of how high-performing teams must be built — not just led.

U.S. CIVIL AIR PATROL — USAF AUXILIARY
CONTINUED SERVICE
Jeremy is a Lieutenant in the United States Civil Air Patrol — the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force — adding yet another dimension to an already extraordinary record of service. The Civil Air Patrol operates with military structure, rank, and discipline, while executing real-world emergency services, search and rescue, and community missions.
He holds three specialty tracks within the organization: Emergency Services Officer, Public Affairs Officer, and Safety Officer — a combination that reflects the full scope of his professional background. He has served on the Ohio Wing Conference Committee and spent two years as Deputy Commander of his squadron.
For the past two years, Jeremy has served as the command-level Emergency Services Officer for the Northeast Ohio Group of the Ohio Wing — the senior officer responsible for emergency services operations across the region

The Person
Behind the
Career
Jeremy is a Northeast Ohio native — born, raised, and still rooted in the Greater Cleveland area. He has been married to his wife Christy for nearly 29 years, and together they have raised four grown children he loves and is deeply proud of. With an empty nest now, Jeremy and Christy are embracing a new chapter — together.
Faith is the quiet foundation beneath everything Jeremy does. A devout follower of Jesus Christ, he doesn’t separate his beliefs from his work — he simply brings his whole self to it. In his own words, he does all that he does as if doing it for the Lord. That conviction shapes the integrity, commitment, and care he brings to every room he walks into.
ON THE ROAD
Jeremy is a runner — and not casually. He and Christy complete at least one official 5K together every month. His current goal: the Marine Corps Marathon. A fitting challenge for a man whose journey started with the Marines and who has never stopped moving forward.
ALWAYS LEARNING
Jeremy is a devoted consumer of books, audiobooks, and podcasts — almost exclusively nonfiction focused on personal growth and professional development. The same drive that built his career keeps him studying, improving, and looking for the next insight worth sharing.
THE GAME & THE ROMANCE OF IT
Jeremy is a baseball fan with a deep appreciation for the game’s history and nostalgia. His two favorite films say it all — Field of Dreams and The Natural. There’s something about baseball’s timeless connection to perseverance, legacy, and what it means to give everything you have that speaks to him.
STILL SEEKING THE NEXT CHALLENGE
Jeremy and Christy are self-described roller coaster enthusiasts and regulars at Cedar Point. They’re also planning to skydive together for the first time in 2026 — proof that for Jeremy, the willingness to step into the unknown doesn’t stay at the office.
